Quality Manager

WHAT IS ON OFFER

 

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager to join our Energy Services team in Rotherham. In this role you  will support the Group Technical and Quality Manager and Senior Management in maintaining high quality standards. You will oversee the day-to-day management of the ISO 17025 / 17020 and  9001 quality management systems.

In collaboration with the Quality Managers and the laboratory and operations management you will  ensure the QA/QC procedures are maintained, calibrations are performed on time, equipment checks are completed, training and competency records are kept up to date,  proficiency schemes are followed, non-conforming test work is managed, corrective actions are implemented and continuous improvements are identified and executed.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE 

 

Essential 

  • Good knowledge and experience working with QMS – ISO 17025/ 17020/9001.
  • Understanding of ISO 17025/17020/9001.
  • Be proactive with a hands on attitude.

 

Required Competencies

  • Ability to plan and implement.
  • Coaching and training.
  • Good numeracy skills.
  • IT skills- Microsoft and Google applications.
  • Strong continuous improvement focus with a strive for excellence.
  • Highly organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Troubleshooting knowledge and general problem solving ability.

 

Required Work Experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in A QA/QC role managing ISO17025/17020/9001.

 

Required Qualifications

  • HNC/HND/Degree in Science related to subject or equivalent is preferred
  • Auditing certificates to ISO 17025/ 17020/9001 is preferred.
