Market Intelligence Coordinator

WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Market Intelligence Coordinator to join the team based at our Head Office in Liverpool, UK. This is a newly created and hands-on role in the business, you will develop and deliver quantitative and qualitative market intelligence as well as competitor insights.

As a vital part of the team, you will support Market Intelligence Analysts by gathering external and internal data, organizing it, and ensuring it is readily accessible for effective market analysis and report creation.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a curious and proactive individual with a passion for market research and analysis to make a measurable impact.

In essence, you will coordinate market intelligence efforts, enabling analysts to gain a comprehensive understanding of the market while actively contributing to the monitoring and reporting of key industry, regulatory, competitive, and market trends.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE 

 

Essential

  • Experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
  • Demonstrate stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of the commodities industry is desirable, in particular metals and minerals.
  • High level of skill in Google suite/Microsoft office is essential.
  • Data driven and demonstrates critical thinking.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy.

 

Required Qualifications

  • A-level / Bachelor’s Degree with a specialisation in business, geography, marketing, economics, statistics, mathematics, engineering, commerce and/or data science is preferred.
  • Strong English language verbal and written skills are essential. Command of a second language although not required is highly desirable.
