Alfred H Knight honoured with a King’s Award for Enterprise
Alfred H Knight (AHK) is honoured to be one of 252 organisations nationally to be recognised with a prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise.
Announced today (Monday 6 May), Alfred H Knight has been acknowledged for its excellence in Innovation. The award comes following a global collaboration between multiple teams across the business, in which AHK was able to digitise complex inspection services in support of the African metals and minerals sector.
The King’s Awards for Enterprise, previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, were renamed last year to reflect His Majesty The King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II by recognising outstanding UK businesses. The Award programme, now in its 58th year, is the most prestigious business award in the country.
Ian Baxter, Chief Executive Officer of Alfred H Knight adds:
“As one of our core values, innovation has been the cornerstone of the success of Alfred H Knight for over 140 years and remains at the forefront of our growth strategy moving forward. We are honoured to receive a King’s Award in the Innovation category. It is a testament to the expertise and dedication of our people and our ongoing commitment to enhancing our service offering, investing in our global operational infrastructure and delivering a high-quality service to our clients.”
This recognition showcases the hard work produced by Alfred H Knight colleagues and is in line with the business’ drive for continuous improvement through disruptive innovation.
