SUPPORTING THE BRITISH HEART FOUNDATION: TEAM AHK COMPLETE THE TOUGH MUDDER CHALLENGE

This October, some brave members of the AHK team took part in the Tough Mudder 2024 challenge, raising money and supporting the British Heart Foundation (BHF).

The team tackled a 15km course filled with 30 gruelling obstacles — including Cage Crawl and Electroshock Therapy — as a true test of endurance. Their determination and team spirit proudly carried them across the finish line.

Collectively, team AHK raised an impressive £4,116 for the British Heart Foundation — an amount that ranked our campaign in the top 5% out of thousands of fundraisers JustGiving!

Following this amazing achievement, Alfred H Knight was honoured to host representatives from the British Heart Foundation who shared their thanks in a heartfelt letter of appreciation:

Thank you to team Alfred H Knight for your fundraising efforts for the British Heart Foundation! Your help enables us continue vital research into the world’s biggest killer. Let’s continue to fight together!” — British Heart Foundation

Team AHK celebrates raising over £4000 for the British Heart Foundation at their Liverpool headquarters.

BHF provided valuable insight into where this money is being allocated, particularly towards cutting-edge research facilities across the North West. One inspiring example is a transportation box capable of replicating the conditions of the human body, allowing heart donations to be transported safely with enough time for successful transplantation. This innovation significantly increases the chances of survival for patients with heart failure.

Whether you physically participated in the challenge or donated to the cause, we want to thank you for your support which helps BHF continue its essential research into heart and circulatory diseases, which affect 7 million people across the UK.
