COLLABORATION ACROSS BORDERS — SOUTH AFRICA AND CHINA

Recently, Jonas Kamonere, Business Development Manager — Southern Africa (pictured above, centre) visited our team in China. During his trip, he toured AHK’s sample preparation facility and laboratory in Tianjin. Jonas also had the opportunity to explore a local port and connect with members of the client support team. This has provided valuable insights into AHK China’s nationwide operations.

Jonas expressed his gratitude, stating, “Thanks to AHK China for providing me with so many great insights throughout the trip! Collaboration across borders and cultures enriches our perspectives and strengthens our collective expertise.”

CHINA TEAM VISITS UK LABORATORIES

Daisy Deng, Coal and Agricultural Lab Manager; Jim Cao, Workshop Manager; and Nancy Liu, Business Support Supervisor, recently travelled to Scotland to visit AHK’s Energy Services Laboratory and Sample Preparation facility. This was followed by a tour of AHK’s global principal laboratory, the John Knight Laboratory in the UK.

Following the visit, the Coal and Agriculture laboratory in China enhanced its LabCreate System by integrating valuable lessons learned from the UK. Additionally, the workshops attended by the team while in the UK have helped improve safety and quality control measures.

AHK MALAYSIA VISITS ENERGY SERVICES HEAD OFFICE IN SCOTLAND

AHK Malaysia team members Allister Ali, Operations Supervisor and Russell Scrooby, Operations Manager (pictured above), travelled to Scotland this year to tour AHK’s facilities and participate in training on biomass sample preparation and laboratory techniques.

Russell remarked on the experience: “It has been an amazing opportunity to experience the AHK network and gain a thorough understanding of the systems and company infrastructure. All AHK colleagues have been extremely welcoming and supportive, eagerly sharing their vast biomass sampling, preparation, and analysis knowledge. It has truly been an enriching experience.”
