We are pleased to share the opening of Alfred H Knight’s recent workshop upgrade in Tianjin, which will enable us to continue to deliver a high quality service to our clients now and in the future.

Following investment into facilities and equipment, the long established workshop has undergone a number of upgrades during May – September this year, without any disruption to operations.

The workshop now covers more than 1,600 square meters, including five crushing rooms for commodities up to 200mm in top size, three separate milling rooms, two separate Base and Minor Metal Concentrate Preparation rooms, and re-melting and induction furnace facilities for metal drillings.

The AHK Tianjin workshop is the central and major sample dispatch hub for AHK China. The workshop has 12 members of experienced staff and a local desk team comprising another 6 members of staff, lead by Jim Cao, National Sample Preparation Manager.

In recognition of the new facilities, an extended celebration was held with the support of Senior Managers and the Tianjin Field Inspection Team.
