We are pleased to announce that the leading provider of global inspection and analysis services, Alfred H Knight (AHK), has acquired a majority stake in Dr. Amin Controllers Pvt. Ltd. (DACPL), India.

Since 1950, DACPL has been a family-owned company based in Mumbai that upholds business values synonymous with global leader Alfred H Knight. Its focus on people and ensuring service delivery is at the forefront of its testing, inspection, and certification services.

This important acquisition follows a successful partnership since January 2023 and includes over 30 branch offices across India, 7 laboratories, and 1,300+ employees. It offers the resources to address further opportunities across Alfred H Knight’s traditional Metals and Minerals business and the Solid Fuels and Agriculture markets in India.

Adding to their existing network of operations in over 45 countries, acquiring the majority stake in the DACPL business is a strategic milestone that will allow Alfred H Knight to develop a much stronger position to address a significant world market. AHK also appoints a well-known industry leader Dr. Sudhir Gupta as Managing Director for this newly acquired entity. Sudhir has 27 years of experience in the TIC industry, having worked in various roles in India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
