Alan Porteous – Business Technical Support Assistant

Alan works closely with the Energy Services team to provide internal and external technical advice and support. He is an expert in all things alternative fuels, logistics, sampling, analysis and reporting of materials. He helps clients to build a reliable profile of their materials.

Carl Wilson – RDF Technical Manager

Carl supports clients with his technical expertise in the sampling and analysis of solid waste, including RDF, household waste streams and commercial waste streams. At RWM 2021, Carl delivered his seminar ‘Building an accurate profile of your RDF and SRF materials through best practice Sampling’.

Darren Coss – Waste Optimisation Lead

Darren has a wealth of knowledge in specialist waste research that he utilises to help clients across a range of sectors to better understand their materials. He also supports the business through the development of new opportunities within the Waste and Recycling Markets.

Philip Wells – Senior Waste Analysis Project Manager

Philip has over 18 years of experience in waste analysis, formulating waste sampling schedules for a number of UK-based field teams and supplying them with a detailed analysis and understanding of the findings. He delivered his seminar ‘Understanding Waste With Compositional Analysis’ at RWM 2022.

Paul utilises his experience in waste sampling and analysis to help clients develop a clearer understanding of their materials. He also provides key technical support to Carl.
