Dr Laurance Donnely presented his paper ‘The Phase Characteristics and Textual Variability of Black Mass’ at the International Congress for Battery Recycling in September. 

He provided an insightful and thought-provoking presentation in which he discussed the heterogeneity of black mass materials and how this affects the sampling process. 

Dr Donnelly who is AHK’s Head of Technical Department and Head Geologist is ensuring that Alfred H Knight leads the way in this new and exciting commodity stream as well as the Circular Economy and his full presentation can be viewed in the video below.
