Regional Operations Manager

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Operations Manager to join our Energy Services Team based in Jakarta. This key position has overall responsibility for overseeing operations across the Group’s overseas offices within the Asia Pacific region. The ideal candidate will drive a quality service for our clients, ensuring project goals are met while upholding high standards of productivity and technical accuracy. This role requires a strong focus on Technical and Operational Excellence, effective planning and organisation to manage complex projects, and adaptability within a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build a positive team spirit are essential, as is a commitment to fostering collaboration and responding to the needs of diverse teams. This is a dynamic opportunity for a results-driven professional who can thrive under pressure and maintain a high level of performance while balancing client satisfaction and operational standards.

Required Work Experience

  • Has previously worked as a General Manager in an overseas office in the Energy Services / Solid Fuels industry
  • Leadership of and/or participation in projects and/or programmes
  • Geographical awareness and cultural sensitivity. Proven ability to adapt to new industries/ environments and workplace cultures.
  • Worked within an international matrix organisation, working across multiple countries, time zones and functions.
  • Experience of working with a broad cross-section of people in terms of varied levels of seniority and cultural backgrounds.
  • Evidence of having embraced new challenges, quickly familiarising oneself in a new company in terms of company organisation structure, business goals and internal/ external stakeholders.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Science based degree preferred.

 

Travel

  • Frequent overseas travel.
