Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity through its Indonesia entity, PT AHK Testing Indonesia, who is looking for an HR Advisor  to join our team based in Jakarta. PT AHK Testing Indonesia provides independent analysis and inspection services to the metals, minerals and solid fuels industries. We have a well-earned reputation for our knowledge and professionalism in all aspects of weighing, sampling and analysis.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Essential 

  • Believes in / drives for Employee Engagement as the best approach to the employer / employee relationship, including an employee-oriented, high performance culture which emphasises empowerment, quality, productivity, high standards, goal attainment, and individual / team development.
  • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present clear, well-structured reports and briefs. Confident presenter with the ability to influence at a senior level.
  • Languages : Proficient in English, both written and oral communication.
  • Team Player / Interpersonal: Builds and maintains positive working relationships with their own team and more widely.  Extremely driven, including the ability to build strong relationships, project a positive attitude, and motivate / develop others across the business to drive for people engagement. Able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Managing uncertainty: Handles pressure and ambiguity well, exercises good judgement and handles challenges in a mature manner. Flexibility and pragmatism when dealing with change.
  • Stakeholder management: Coaching and mentoring, critical friend, influencing skills.
  • Quality:  ‘Right first time’ approach, completes work to a high standard, continually looking for improvements and strong problem-solvers, high level of attention to detail is key within this role.

Required Work Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Experience of working in an HR administration or generalist role.
  • Experience of working in a global/international company – Preferred but not essential.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or any relevant studies. This requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
