Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Foundry Technician in Raamsdonksveer (The Netherlands). As a Foundry Technician you will prepare metal samples for analyses. We do this by melting metals using a smelter. This is very specific work for which you will be trained internally. Manoeuvring with the forklift truck is an important part in this process. By sawing and grinding, a metal powder is made from the molten metal, which is then ready for analysis.
The sample we analyse is a small part of a total sample that often represents a significant value. It is therefore important that the analysis is carried out very accurately.
No specific training is required for this position. We will make sure that you will be trained internally to become a Foundry Technician.
