Assay Records Administrator

WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Assay Records Administrator to join the Sample Management Department. The overall purpose of the role is to To ensure that all reporting and certificate generation is produced to reflect the highest standards of quality, whilst maintaining the maximum turnaround times expected of AHK and external clients.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE 

 

Responsibilities

Reporting of Results – Certificate Generation

  • Use Assay Admin Dashboard to filter jobs based on priority.
  • Check client instructions before proceeding.
  • Generate certificate through LabCreate for Whiteside jobs and email directly to the client, checking thoroughly for inaccuracies prior to sending, hard copies issued as required.
  • Generate certificate through LabCreate for Desk jobs and email directly to the desk manager, checking thoroughly for inaccuracies prior to sending, hard copies issued as required.
  • Generate certificate through LabCreate for Umpire and Final and Binding jobs to each party involved, each certificate to include the relevant client name. Check thoroughly for inaccuracies prior to sending, hard copies issued as required.
  • Upload all copies to LabCreate.
  • Tick out Assay Admin within LabTrac to confirm job has been reported.

 

Essential

  • Computer literate
  • Microsoft Word
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and electronically
  • Good attention to detail
  • Be able to work from own initiative
  • Team player

 

Desirable

  • Similar administration experience
  • GCSE ‘C’ or above in Science, Maths and English
  • Previous use of email to communicate with both internal and external clients
